Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the KLOSET mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by KLOSET ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using KLOSET, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you are using KLOSET on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
KLOSET is an AI-powered wardrobe management application that allows users to:
- Catalogue and organise clothing items for themselves and their family members
- Receive AI-generated outfit recommendations and styling suggestions
- Plan trip packing lists based on their wardrobe
- Save style inspiration and manage a fashion diary
- Share wardrobe information with designated family members
Some features require a paid subscription. Free tier features and premium features are described within the app and may change over time.
3. Account Registration
To use KLOSET, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Keep your password secure and not share it with others
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
- Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account
You may not create more than one account per person or use another person's account without permission.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Free tier
KLOSET offers a free tier with limited features. Free users may add up to a set number of wardrobe items and access basic functionality as described in the app.
Premium subscription
Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. By subscribing, you authorise the applicable store to charge the subscription fee to your payment method on a recurring basis.
Cancellation and refunds
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then
- Refunds are governed by the applicable App Store or Google Play refund policies
- We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods
Price changes
We may change subscription prices with reasonable notice. Your continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
5. Your Content
Ownership
You retain ownership of all photographs, notes, and other content ("Your Content") you submit to KLOSET.
Licence to us
By submitting content to KLOSET, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not use Your Content to train AI models or share it with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.
Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for Your Content. You agree not to submit content that:
- Infringes any intellectual property rights
- Is unlawful, defamatory, or offensive
- Contains malware or harmful code
- Violates any applicable law or regulation
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use KLOSET only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our written consent
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data
- Use automated means to scrape, crawl, or collect data from the Service
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
7. AI-Generated Content
KLOSET uses artificial intelligence to generate outfit recommendations, item tags, trip packing suggestions, and style insights. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated content is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only
- AI suggestions may not always be accurate, appropriate, or complete
- You are responsible for all purchasing and styling decisions you make
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated item classifications or valuations
8. Intellectual Property
The KLOSET app, including its design, code, trademarks, logo, and all content created by us, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our express written permission. The KLOSET name and logo are trademarks of KLOSET.
9. Privacy
Your use of KLOSET is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
10. Third-Party Services
KLOSET integrates with third-party services including Anthropic (AI), Supabase (database), RevenueCat (subscriptions), and OpenWeatherMap (weather). Your use of features that involve these services is also subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We are not responsible for any damage to your device resulting from your use of the Service.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KLOSET AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £10, whichever is greater.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless KLOSET and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use of the Service poses a risk to us or other users. You may delete your account at any time via Profile → Delete Account in the app. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice in the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
